What can you expect in Caldicot?
A job starts the same way wherever you are: a measured survey, a look at the lintel and floor level, and a conversation about how the unit trades. We cover postcodes including NP26, and we also work nearby in Chepstow and Caerleon.
What should you think about first?
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
Can the shutter match my frontage?
Yes. Curtain, box and guides are powder coated to a RAL colour to match your frame as closely as the finish allows.

Will this need planning permission in Caldicot?
Probably, if it is external. Monmouthshire County Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent, and rules are set by the Welsh Government.
