Is the survey really free?
Yes. The survey is free and there is no obligation to go ahead with the quotation.
Who will I be dealing with?
Shopfronts and Shutters UK is a trading name of S&K Glazing Limited (company 14088194), part of the S&K Group. The same team handles your survey, quotation and installation.
Can the work be done outside opening hours?
Yes. Closed-day or out-of-hours installation can be arranged when the business cannot close.
Do I need planning permission?
Like-for-like replacement usually does not. A changed appearance, an external roller shutter or an illuminated sign usually needs consent from your council. We tell you which applies at survey.
How much do aluminium shopfronts cost?
From £2,450 plus VAT for a standard opening; lead time 3-4 weeks after drawing sign-off.
How much do steel shopfronts cost?
From £3,600 plus VAT for a standard opening; lead time 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off.
How much do electric roller shutters cost?
From £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening; lead time 2-3 weeks after survey.
How much do insulated roller shutters cost?
From £1,850 plus VAT for a standard opening; lead time 2-3 weeks after survey.
How much do perforated roller shutters cost?
From £1,750 plus VAT for a standard opening; lead time 2-3 weeks after survey.
