How does it work in Lurgan?
Local rules matter more than people expect. Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council handles planning for Lurgan, and its view of external shutters and frontage changes shapes what we recommend.
What should you think about first?
Will the colours really match?
Frame and shutter are powder coated to the same RAL reference. Coating on different materials can vary slightly, which we will show you on samples first.
How does a joint install save trading time?
The frontage and shutter go in as one sequence, so you close once. With two contractors, you close twice and hope they agree on who damaged what.
Can I phase the work?
Yes. If cash flow is tight, we can fit the frontage first and leave the box, guides and power ready for the shutter later.

Do you need consent in Lurgan?
Probably, if it is external. Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. In Northern Ireland, councils decide planning applications, and Building Control applications are separate. Listed buildings need listed building consent.
