What can you expect in King's Lynn?
Working in King's Lynn means working with Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk on planning, and sometimes with a landlord on the lease. We flag both early, so that neither one holds up your opening date.
What makes the difference?
Steel or aluminium laths?
Steel is stronger and heavier. Aluminium is lighter and quieter, which helps under flats. Most shops are well served by either.
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
Can the shutter match my frontage?
Yes. Curtain, box and guides are powder coated to a RAL colour to match your frame as closely as the finish allows.

Will this need planning permission in King's Lynn?
Usually yes, if the shutter goes on the outside. External shutters change how the building looks, so Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk will normally expect a planning application. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.

How much does a perforated roller shutter cost in King's Lynn?
