How does it work in Beckenham?
A job starts the same way wherever you are: a measured survey, a look at the lintel and floor level, and a conversation about how the unit trades. We cover postcodes including BR3, and we also work nearby in Bromley and Catford.
What should you think about first?
Steel or aluminium laths?
Steel is stronger and heavier. Aluminium is lighter and quieter, which helps under flats. Most shops are well served by either.
Can the shutter match my frontage?
Yes. Curtain, box and guides are powder coated to a RAL colour to match your frame as closely as the finish allows.
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.

Do you need consent in Beckenham?
Probably, if it is external. London Borough of Bromley decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
