Width, the number of doors, glass type and any strip-out. A second door or a laminated upgrade moves the figure more than the colour does.
Which colours work best?
Dark greys and black are the most requested because they frame the shop well. In a conservation area, ask us first, as colour can matter to the council.
What does the written quotation show?
Every item: frame, glass, doors, stallriser, strip-out and any electrics. It stays valid for 90 days, and nothing is ordered until you accept.
Will this need planning permission in Sale?
A like-for-like replacement often does not need permission, but a visibly different frontage usually does. The application goes to Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
