What happens in Droitwich?
Working in Droitwich means working with Wychavon District Council on planning, and sometimes with a landlord on the lease. We flag both early, so that neither one holds up your opening date.
What is worth knowing?
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
Steel or aluminium laths?
Steel is stronger and heavier. Aluminium is lighter and quieter, which helps under flats. Most shops are well served by either.
Do I need a safety edge?
That depends on the risk assessment. Powered shutters near the public are assessed against BS EN 12453, and we quote what the result calls for.
