What can you expect in Bishopbriggs?
Most shop owners come to us at one of three points: a new lease, a break-in, or a frontage that has finally given up. In each case the first step is a survey, and we cover postcodes including G64.
What should you check before you decide?
Can the shutter match my frontage?
Yes. Curtain, box and guides are powder coated to a RAL colour to match your frame as closely as the finish allows.
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
How much will it cost?

| 3 to 4 m | A wider single unit | £2,795 to £3,595 |
| 4 to 5 m | A double-fronted or corner unit | £3,395 to £4,395 |

Guide prices, not offers. Your written quotation sets the final figure.
Will this need planning permission in Bishopbriggs?
Probably, if it is external. East Dunbartonshire Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. In Scotland, work can also need a building warrant before it starts, and listed buildings need listed building consent from the council.
