What happens in Uckfield?
Shops often have older equipment fitted by companies that no longer trade. That is fine: we work on most commercial makes, in Uckfield and postcodes including TN22, and we say so if a part cannot be found.
What should you think about first?
Can you repair the frontage too?
Yes. We repair doors, closers, locks, hinges and beads, and glass can be measured at the same visit.
Is it worth repairing an old shutter?
Often, if the curtain and guides are sound. If not, we will price a replacement so that you can compare.
What should I do if a shutter or door fails?
Stop using it if it looks unsafe, keep people clear and take a photo. Do not force a stuck shutter, as the springs and barrel are under load.
