What is worth knowing?
Will I get something in writing?
Yes. A service visit ends with a written condition report that you can keep for your landlord or insurer.
How is the visit priced?
We tell you what the visit covers before we book it. Parts and further labour are agreed with you before they are added.
What should I do if a shutter or door fails?
Stop using it if it looks unsafe, keep people clear and take a photo. Do not force a stuck shutter, as the springs and barrel are under load.
What do people ask about shutter services in Portswood?
What if the job is bigger than expected?
You are told on site before any further work and you decide whether to go ahead.
How quickly can you get to Portswood?
Often within the week. Tell us if you cannot open or lock up, and we will prioritise where we can.
Do you cover the postcodes around Portswood?
Yes, including SO17, SO18 and SO16.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Most shops plan at least one service a year, and busy shutters need more.
