Shops often have older equipment fitted by companies that no longer trade. That is fine: we work on most commercial makes, in Handsworth and postcodes including B21 and B20, and we say so if a part cannot be found.
What is worth knowing?
Will I get something in writing?
Yes. A service visit ends with a written condition report that you can keep for your landlord or insurer.
Do you work on any make?
Most commercial shutters and door gear. We will tell you straight away if parts are no longer available.
What should I do if a shutter or door fails?
Stop using it if it looks unsafe, keep people clear and take a photo. Do not force a stuck shutter, as the springs and barrel are under load.
