What can you expect across Oxfordshire?
In Oxfordshire, the usual route is the same wherever you are: a measured survey, an itemised quotation, then fitting at a time that suits the shop. Towns we cover include Oxford, Banbury, Abingdon and Bicester. Oxford's historic centre needs great care, with Banbury, Abingdon, Witney and Bicester all busy trading towns.

Guide prices, not offers. Your written quotation sets the final figure.
What should you think about first?
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
Steel or aluminium laths?
Steel is stronger and heavier. Aluminium is lighter and quieter, which helps under flats. Most shops are well served by either.
Do you need consent across Oxfordshire?
Usually yes, if the shutter goes on the outside. External shutters change how the building looks, so your council will normally expect a planning application. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
