What is worth knowing?
Can I phase the work?
Yes. If cash flow is tight, we can fit the frontage first and leave the box, guides and power ready for the shutter later.
Should I choose solid or perforated?
Solid gives more privacy and strength. Perforated keeps the window working at night. On the outside of a shop, some councils resist both, so check before you choose.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
One company. Your contract is with S&K Glazing Limited for both parts, so nobody can point at the other contractor.

Do you need consent in Clydach?
Probably, if it is external. City and County of Swansea Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent, and rules are set by the Welsh Government.
