From city-centre units to village parades, the job starts the same way. Llanelli, Ammanford, Aberystwyth and Carmarthen are among the places we cover. Councils here include Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Carmarthen, Llanelli, Haverfordwest and Aberystwyth serve wide rural areas, with coastal exposure in the west.
What should you think about first?
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
How long does a shutter last?
Curtains and guides can last many years with planned servicing. Motors, springs and locks go first, and a busy shop will wear them faster.
