Towns we cover include Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot and Gorseinon. Swansea has a city centre and the Uplands, and Neath and smaller valleys and coastal towns make up the rest.

What makes the difference?
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.
Do I need a safety edge?
That depends on the risk assessment. Powered shutters near the public are assessed against BS EN 12453, and we quote what the result calls for.
How long does a shutter last?
Curtains and guides can last many years with planned servicing. Motors, springs and locks go first, and a busy shop will wear them faster.
Do you need consent across West Glamorgan?
Usually yes, if the shutter goes on the outside. External shutters change how the building looks, so your council will normally expect a planning application. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent, and rules are set by the Welsh Government.
