What can you expect in Ware?
Whether the unit is on the main shopping street or a local parade in Ware, the job is measured the same way, and East Hertfordshire District Council is the council to check with.
What makes the difference?
Does a shutter need planning permission?
An external shutter usually does. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. An internal grille or shutter is usually the safer route, so we can advise what to check before you order.
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
What will my insurer want?
Some insurers name a shutter type or rating, and many ask for locks and service records. Ask them before you order, as it saves a change later.
How much will it cost?

| 3 to 4 m | A wider single unit | £2,195 to £2,895 |
