How does it work in Heywood?
Working in Heywood means working with Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council on planning, and sometimes with a landlord on the lease. We flag both early, so that neither one holds up your opening date.
What should you think about first?
What about a fire exit?
A shutter must never trap people in. If it covers an escape route, it needs to be open while the premises are occupied, or opened easily from inside.
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
What should you budget?
