What should you think about first?
Steel or aluminium laths?
Steel is stronger and heavier. Aluminium is lighter and quieter, which helps under flats. Most shops are well served by either.
Can the shutter match my frontage?
Yes. Curtain, box and guides are powder coated to a RAL colour to match your frame as closely as the finish allows.
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
Do you need consent in Banstead?
Probably, if it is external. Reigate and Banstead Borough Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
