What can you expect in York?
We cover York and postcodes including YO1, YO31 and YO10, and teams working here can also reach Selby and Wetherby. Parking, deliveries and pavement space all go into the plan for fitting day.
What should you think about first?
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
Can the shutter match my frontage?
Yes. Curtain, box and guides are powder coated to a RAL colour to match your frame as closely as the finish allows.
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.

Will this need planning permission in York?
Probably, if it is external. City of York Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
