What should you check before you decide?
What will my insurer want?
Some insurers name a shutter type or rating, and many ask for locks and service records. Ask them before you order, as it saves a change later.
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
What electrics are needed?
A power supply near the box, installed by a qualified electrician. We show the position on the drawing.
Do you need consent in Grimsby?
Probably, if it is external. North East Lincolnshire Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
What do people ask about high-security shutters in Grimsby?
Can you match the shutter to my shopfront?

How much does a high-security shutter cost in Grimsby?

Do you cover the postcodes around Grimsby?
Yes, including DN32, DN31 and DN34.
What does LPS 1175 mean?
It is a Loss Prevention Standard for intruder-resistant products. The rating shows the tools tested and how long the product held out.
