What happens in Bordon?
We aim to fit the survey around your opening hours in Bordon, and we also cover Alton and Haslemere. You get the same written quotation wherever the shop is.
What makes the difference?
How is the shutter controlled?
By key switch, remote or both, and we specify a manual override for power cuts. Keep the override instructions somewhere that staff can find them.
Steel or aluminium laths?
Steel is stronger and heavier. Aluminium is lighter and quieter, which helps under flats. Most shops are well served by either.
Surface box or hidden box?
A surface box under the fascia is quicker and cheaper. A hidden box looks far better, but needs height above the door head and a removable access panel.

Guide prices, not offers. Your written quotation sets the final figure.
Do you need consent in Bordon?
An external shutter normally needs planning permission from East Hampshire District Council. An internal shutter or grille often does not, so it is worth checking before you order. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
