What can you expect in Cleethorpes?
A frontage in Cleethorpes has to suit the street as well as the shop. North East Lincolnshire Council decides what is acceptable where planning applies, so we draw with that in mind.
What should you think about first?
What does the written quotation show?
Every item: frame, glass, doors, stallriser, strip-out and any electrics. It stays valid for 90 days, and nothing is ordered until you accept.
How do you deal with the threshold?
We aim for level or near-level access. New doors need thought about wheelchair and pushchair users, and we check the floor before we promise anything.
Should the stallriser stay?
A stallriser protects the bottom of the glass from kicks, trolleys and cleaning water. On older streets it is also part of the look.
What are the guide prices?

Usually yes, if the look of the frontage changes. Replacing like for like may not need permission, but North East Lincolnshire Council has the final say. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
