What should you check before you decide?
Can I keep trading during the work?
Often, in part. Fitting days can be planned for your quiet days, and closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Which colours work best?
Dark greys and black are the most requested because they frame the shop well. In a conservation area, ask us first, as colour can matter to the council.
What about the fascia and sign?
We set out the fascia at the same time, so your sign fixings and any shutter box do not clash. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area.
Do you need consent in Rustington?
A like-for-like replacement often does not need permission, but a visibly different frontage usually does. The application goes to Arun District Council. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
