How does it work in Redruth?
Redruth sits in Cornwall, and Cornwall Council is the planning authority. For most shops that means checking consent before the order is placed, not after it.

What should you think about first?
What about the fascia and sign?
We set out the fascia at the same time, so your sign fixings and any shutter box do not clash. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area.
What does the written quotation show?
Every item: frame, glass, doors, stallriser, strip-out and any electrics. It stays valid for 90 days, and nothing is ordered until you accept.
What affects the price most?
Width, the number of doors, glass type and any strip-out. A second door or a laminated upgrade moves the figure more than the colour does.
Will this need planning permission in Redruth?
It depends on how much changes. A new layout, new materials or a moved door usually needs permission from Cornwall Council. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
