What makes the difference?
What does the written quotation show?
Every item: frame, glass, doors, stallriser, strip-out and any electrics. It stays valid for 90 days, and nothing is ordered until you accept.
Should the stallriser stay?
A stallriser protects the bottom of the glass from kicks, trolleys and cleaning water. On older streets it is also part of the look.
Which colours work best?
Dark greys and black are the most requested because they frame the shop well. In a conservation area, ask us first, as colour can matter to the council.
Do you need consent across Hampshire?
A like-for-like replacement often does not need permission, but a visibly different frontage usually does. The application goes to your council. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
What do people ask about aluminium shopfronts across Hampshire?
How soon can you fit an aluminium shopfront across Hampshire?
Lead time is 3 to 4 weeks after drawing sign-off. We book the fitting days around your trading.
Does a new shopfront across Hampshire need planning permission?
A change to how the frontage looks usually does. Your council is the council to check with, and we advise at survey.
Can you add a shutter to the new shopfront?
Yes, and it is best planned now. We can price the frontage and shutter as one job.
Can you fit it around my trading hours?
Yes. Closed-day or out-of-hours fitting can be arranged when the business cannot close.
