Shopfronts and shutters for jewellers
For a jeweller the specification usually starts with the insurer, not the designer.

What will my insurer ask for?
Often laminated glass to a stated rating, a rated shutter or grille, and a named lock. Get this in writing first, and we will price to it.
Which shutter suits a jeweller?
A rated shutter, or an internal shutter or grille behind laminated glass. Many jewellers clear the window at night, which changes what the shutter has to do.
Can a secure frontage still look elegant?
Yes. Small display windows, dark bronze frames and stone-coloured stallrisers do a lot, and a heavy frame can be finished as finely as a light one.
