What should you think about first?
Why plan the frontage and shutter together?
Because the shutter box needs a home. Plan it with the fascia and it disappears. Add it later and it usually ends up on the face of the building.
What does one drawing change?
Everything lines up: door head, guide channels, fascia, sign fixing and power supply. It also gives your council or landlord one clear document to look at.
How is the visit priced?
We tell you what the visit covers before we book it. Parts and further labour are agreed with you before they are added.
Will this need planning permission in Midsomer Norton?
Probably, if it is external. Bath and North East Somerset Council decides. Many councils resist solid external shutters, and some resist perforated ones too. Illuminated signs can need advertisement consent, depending on size, position and area. Listed buildings need listed building consent as well.
