Price guide
Budget from £3,600 plus VAT as a starting point. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Lead time is typically 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off. On site, most Dudley jobs take one or two days. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
Specification notes
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Popular choices include pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay; slim steel sections with high impact resistance.
Our West Midlands area
We treat Dudley as part of our West Midlands round including the DY postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Aldridge, Kingswinford and Rowley Regis.
Planning rules in Dudley
In Dudley, applications go to Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
