Guide price: from £2,450 plus VAT for a standard opening. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Expect 3-4 weeks after drawing sign-off for manufacture. Fitting a standard Dudley unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
What gets fitted
Aluminium is the default for high-street retail because the sections stay slim, the powder coat can match any brand colour, and the frame will not rot, swell or warp. Popular choices include toughened or laminated safety glass to BS EN 12150 / 14449; low-threshold entrance options for level access.
Our West Midlands area
Dudley falls within West Midlands across the DY postcode district, which puts it on the same route as Aldridge, Kingswinford and Rowley Regis.
Permission and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
The local planning authority for Dudley is Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
