What it costs in Chesterfield
Guide price: from £3,600 plus VAT for a standard opening. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long it takes
Allow 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard Chesterfield unit is normally one to two days on site. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
What gets fitted
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Common specifications: crittall-style glazing bar patterns; pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay.
