Timescales
Lead time is typically 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
The product
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Popular choices include pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay; slim steel sections with high impact resistance.
Where we work around Oakham

Local planning
In Oakham, applications go to Rutland County Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Before you book
Can you work outside trading hours?
Yes, work can be arranged for a closed day or outside trading hours where the business cannot close. We agree it with you when booking.
Is the survey free?
Yes. The survey is free and carries no obligation to go ahead.
How long is the quotation valid?
Quotations are valid for 90 days from the date they are issued.
How do payments work?
A deposit is taken when you accept the quotation, a further stage payment on the first day of installation, and the balance on satisfactory completion. The exact split is set out on your quotation.
