Timescales
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Redditch unit is normally one to two days on site. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
Specification notes
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. Common specifications: safety edge and obstruction detection options; tubular motor inside the barrel.
Coverage
Redditch falls within Worcestershire and the B postcode area, which puts it on the same route as Bromsgrove, Malvern and Droitwich.
Planning rules in Redditch
In Redditch, applications go to Redditch Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. You will know before you order.
Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Worcestershire?
Yes. We cover Redditch and the rest of Worcestershire, including Bromsgrove, Malvern and Droitwich.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
