Electric roller shutters across Loughborough
Electric roller shutters in Loughborough start from about £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
In Loughborough and nearby, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo so the electric roller shutters arrive made to fit.
Do you need consent?
In Loughborough, applications go to Charnwood Borough Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Price guide
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
Lead times
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. On site, most Loughborough jobs take one or two days. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
What gets fitted
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. You can specify key switch, remote or both; manual override for power cuts.
Our Leicestershire area

Questions from Loughborough customers
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Leicestershire?
Yes. We cover Loughborough and the rest of Leicestershire, including Coalville, Market Harborough and Leicester.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
